Class Details & Requirements
Elementary art
K–5th grade. No previous art experience is required—students of all skill levels are welcome.
Intermediate art
Middle & high school students. Classes are designed for students who are ready to build on foundational skills and explore more advanced techniques.
Class format
1-hour, twice-weekly classes with hands-on instruction and a variety of art projects throughout the year.
What your student needs
What to bring
Students will need a sketchbook, purchased prior to the first day of class. All other art materials for class projects are provided by Tropical Day Studio.
Skill levels
Students do not need to be “artistic” or have prior experience. Classes focus on teaching skills and techniques while encouraging each student’s creativity and individual style.
Class size
Classes are intentionally kept small to provide students with individual instruction and guidance. 8 students max per class. If you have friends or a co-op group, sign up together for a fun class! Let us know if you have more than 8 kids in a group.
How to register
Follow these simple steps to secure your student's spot in our art classes.
1. Find your class
Browse the Class Schedule and choose the Elementary or Intermediate class, day, and time that works best for your student.
2. Register
Complete the registration form to reserve your student’s spot.
3. Payment Information
Details about payment options will be provided upon registration.
4. You're all set!
Once registration is complete, your student’s spot is reserved. You’ll receive confirmation with all the information you need before classes begin.
